Il Divino: Michelangelo’s Sistine Ceiling in VR is a Virtual Reality experience powered by Unreal Engine where you can walk through and learn about the Sistine Chapel Ceiling.

The demo was created exclusively for the SIGGRAPH 2019 Immersive Pavilion, by the team behind the previous SIGGRAPH 2017 VR piece: Il Gigante: Michelangelo's David in VR. Debuting at SIGGRAPH on Valve’s INDEX headset, Il Divino delivers an experience of the highest fidelity –you can see individual cracks and brush strokes in the plaster!

These experience shows us how the Gothic Choir experience can achieve an immersive experience in the Cathedral environments, with a guided tour through all the stalls and sculptures.

In the Michelangelo's experience, a visitor is read a historical letter where Michelangelo describes the hardships he endured painting the Pope's ceiling.

La demostración fue creada exclusivamente para el pabellón inmersivo SIGGRAPH 2019, por el equipo detrás de la pieza anterior de SIGGRAPH 2017 VR: Il Gigante: Michelangelo's David in VR. Debutando en SIGGRAPH con los headsets INDEX de Valve, Il Divino ofrece una experiencia de la más alta calidad: ¡Puedes apreciar grietas y pinceladas individuales en el yeso!

Esta experiencia nos muestra cómo la experiencia del Coro Gótico puede lograr una experiencia inmersiva similar en los ambientes de una Catedral, con una visita guiada por todos los sitiales y esculturas talladas.

En la experiencia de Miguel Ángel, a un visitante se le lee una carta histórica donde Miguel Ángel describe las dificultades que soportó pintando el techo del Papa.
