PHOTOGRAMMETRY MODELLING OF LOST ALTARPIECE IN LAS PALMAS OF GRAN CANARIA

In an effort to recover the Lost Heritage, and thanks to the research work carried out by Joan Morell (2004) in the location of the Gothic altarpiece of the Seu d'Urgell, we received authorization to photograph the piece in question, an altarpiece that presided over the Cathedral until its restoration in the late 1990s. Later it is located in an adjoining chapel with an image of a virgin and Saint Jerome. The digitalization work aims to recover the altarpiece in a virtual way in its original location in the Cathedral of La Seu d'Urgell, in conjunction with other lost or removed elements, such as the splendid Gothic stalls, today in Hearst Castle in California.

En un esfuerzo por recuperar el Patrimonio perdido, y gracias al trabajo de investigación realizado por Joan Morell (2004) en la localización del retablo gótico de la Seu d'Urgell, recibimos autorización para fotografiar la pieza en cuestión, un retablo que hasta su restauración a finales de los 90 presidía la Catedral. Con posterioridad está situado en una capilla anexa con una imagen de una virgen y de San Jerónimo.  El trabajo de digitalización pretende la recuperación de forma virtual del retablo en su ubicación original en la Catedral de La Seu d'Urgell, en conjunción con otros elementos perdidos o eliminados, como la espléndida sillería gótica, hoy dia en el castillo Hearst en California.
